- Sharp Stanley knife
- Sponge and water for cleaning
- Grout, if desired
Before you start
Surface preparation is the most important step. Make sure the wall is clean, dry, smooth and free from dust, loose paint, grease or debris. Sand down rough patches if needed so the adhesive can create a strong, even bond.
Choosing the right adhesive
Use a high-strength exterior adhesive, such as a weather-resistant construction adhesive formulated for outdoor conditions.
Use a general-purpose on-contact adhesive suitable for flexible materials, especially for dry interior walls, backsplashes and feature walls.
For best results, choose an adhesive designed for flexible materials, particularly if installing onto curved, uneven or irregular surfaces.
Step-by-step installation
Make sure the wall is clean, dry, smooth and free from dust. Sand down rough patches if needed before you begin.
Mark the centre of the surface and work outward from there. Lay out a few brick facings without adhesive first to check your design, spacing and alignment.
Spread adhesive onto a small section of the surface. Work in manageable areas and only cover the section you plan to install immediately.
Press each brick facing firmly into the adhesive and make sure it is aligned correctly. Flexible Brick Facings can be cut to size with a Stanley knife for corners, edges or irregular shapes.
Use a level to keep rows straight and spacing even. For corners and edges, measure carefully and trim for a neat fit.
Wipe away any excess adhesive with a damp sponge as you go. Allow the adhesive to cure fully, usually 24–48 hours, or as directed by the adhesive manufacturer.
Grouting is optional. If you want a more traditional masonry-style finish, apply grout between the brick facings using a rubber float and wipe away excess grout with a damp sponge.
Once everything is dry, clean the surface with a damp cloth to remove grout residue, adhesive marks or dust.
For the best result
Work in small sections, check alignment regularly, clean adhesive as you go, and allow enough curing time before exposing the area to moisture, weather or heavy use.
Maintenance is minimal. Wipe occasionally with a soft cloth and mild detergent when required. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive scourers or high-pressure cleaning directly on the brick facing.
For outdoor projects, make sure the product has been installed on a suitable surface using an adhesive appropriate for exterior use.

What is MCM & why is it unique?
MCM (Modified Clay Material) is an advanced, eco-friendly composite made by blending natural clay with polymers and fibres. This gives the bricks flexibility, strength, and a realistic appearance, while also making them lightweight and sustainable. They are certified as a three-star green building material and are manufactured with no waste emissions.
Please note: The brick-facing material may feel rigid in cooler temperatures due to its durable composition. This is normal and can be remedied by gently warming the product to restore flexibility for installation. This temporary stiffness does not affect the material’s performance or appearance once installed.
Where can the flexible bricks be used?
These flexible bricks are highly versatile and can be used in both indoor and outdoor settings. They adhere well to a variety of surfaces, including concrete, plaster, wood, drywall, and curved structures. Their durability and ease of installation also make them ideal for commercial applications such as retail, hospitality, and office spaces.
Are the bricks safe and durable?
Yes, the bricks are A-grade fire-resistant, weatherproof, and moisture-resistant, making them safe for high-heat areas like fireplaces and kitchens, as well as durable in harsh or wet environments.
How do they compare to traditional bricks?
Compared to traditional bricks, these are significantly lighter and easier to install, especially on non-flat or irregular surfaces. They can be cut and shaped easily to fit custom designs, reducing installation time and labour costs.
What are the specifications and options?
Each brick measures 24 cm x 6 cm x 0.3 cm and features a natural stone look with authentic brick texture. Custom colour options may be available upon request—contact us to discuss your preferences.
What tools or maintenance are required?
No specialised tools are needed—standard adhesives used for tile or brick installations are compatible. Maintenance is minimal; occasional cleaning is all that’s required to preserve the appearance.
