Frequently Asked Questions - Vinyl Floor Stick on Tiles

What are peel and Stick on Vinyl Floor Tiles?

Our new peel-and-stick Vinyl Floor tiles are self-adhesive and are suitable to use over existing floor tiles and a range of other surfaces. Made from a PVC material our floor tile range is bold in designs and colours for many homeowners and passionate DIY renovators alike who desire something easy to install but aren't willing to sacrifice style. Much like our other Stick-on Tiles range, they require no grout, are easy to clean, affordable and can dramatically makeover your space instantly.

What surfaces can I install the Vinyl Floor Stick-on Tiles on?

Our Vinyl Floor Stick-on Tiles are designed to install directly over:

  • Existing tiles (ceramic, porcelain, marble, etc.)
  • Smooth concrete floors
  • Smooth wood floors
  • Composite flooring
  • Standard gyprock and plasterboard (for wall features or splashbacks)

Just ensure your surface is clean, dry, and in good condition before installation — no sanding or special prep needed in most cases.

These tiles are also great for splashbacks or other wall décor features. For an even more seamless, waterproof finish, we recommend applying all-purpose silicone along all edges.

What dimensions are the Vinyl Floor Stick on Tiles?

Our Vinyl Floor tiles measure at 30.5 cm by 30.5 cm, further information on our Vinyl Floor range can be found on each item in the product information. There is a tile calculator on each page to help confirm the amount needed for your project space.

Can I use Stick on Tiles in wet areas such as showers?

Our Vinyl Floor Tile range is water-resistant and features a P3-rated anti-slip surface, making it suitable for use in bathrooms, powder rooms, and other wet areas

While we do not typically recommend installation inside showers due to ongoing water exposure and elevated temperatures that may affect the adhesive, some customers have chosen to install the tiles in these areas by taking extra steps to improve water resistance. These include:

- Sealing all perimeter edges and corners with waterproof silicone.

- Using silicone or epoxy grout to fill joins and prevent water ingress.

These additional measures can enhance the longevity of the tiles in wet areas. However, if you choose to install them in environments such as shower floors, it is done entirely at your own discretion. As this falls outside our standard installation guidelines, we are unable to guarantee performance or accept responsibility for any issues that may arise. That said, thousands of customers have safely installed our vinyl floor tiles in bathrooms and laundry areas using these additional waterproofing steps — achieving great results in DIY and rental spaces alike.

Can I remove the Stick on Tiles?

Yes, these tiles can be removed in the future, however they may leave adhesive residue or lift any paint off in the removal process. We recommend you first heat up the adhesive glue using a hair dryer and then slowly peel them off.

How many sheets of tiles will I get?

We sell all our tiles by the sheet (single sheet) as well as in packs of 10, 20, 30 etc. That way, you can get the exact amount you're after for your project space. You can use the Tile Calculator to confirm the total amount needed for your space.
