What you’ll need
- Cutting surface (thick cardboard or scrap timber)
- Ruler
- Stanley knife (fresh blade)
- Pencil
- Cleaning agent (sugar soap or mild dishwashing liquid)
- Cleaning cloth & bucket of warm water
- Fine sandpaper (as needed)
Step-by-step
Wipe the area with a gentle cleaner to remove dirt, dust and debris. Wait until touch-dry before continuing.
Let tiles acclimate to the room for at least 48 hours to minimise expansion or contraction.
Start at the longest wall’s corner. Peel back the film, place the first sheet, and press firmly to bond.
Lay tiles in rows, pressing out bubbles and closing gaps. A straight edge helps keep lines true.
Measure and mark edges, then cut neatly with a sharp Stanley knife.
Check corners and walls for a snug fit. Make small trims as needed and complete the floor with tight joins.
Our peel-and-stick Vinyl Floor Tiles are self-adhesive and suitable over existing floor tiles and other smooth surfaces. Made from PVC, they offer bold designs for DIY renovators seeking easy installation without sacrificing style. They require no grout, are easy to clean, affordable, and can transform your space instantly.
Designed to install directly over:
- Existing tiles (ceramic, porcelain, marble, etc.)
- Smooth concrete floors
- Smooth wood floors
- Composite flooring
- Standard gyprock and plasterboard (for wall features or splashbacks)
Ensure the surface is clean, dry and sound before installation — no sanding or special prep needed in most cases. For walls or splashbacks, apply silicone along edges for a more seamless, water-resistant finish.
For some wall/splashback scenarios you may want extra bond. Use a suitable water-based, solvent-free vinyl flooring adhesive for spot fixes or full coverage (low odour, easy clean-up). Works on timber, concrete and fibre-cement surfaces. Example: Selleys 500 ml Kwik Grip Horizontal Contact Adhesive.
Each tile is 30 cm × 30 cm. See product details for specifics. Use the on-page Tile Calculator to confirm how many you’ll need.
The range is water-resistant and features a P3 anti-slip surface, suitable for bathrooms, powder rooms and other wet areas.
Inside showers isn’t typically recommended due to continuous water and heat affecting adhesive. If you choose to proceed, additional steps help:
- Seal all perimeter edges and corners with waterproof silicone.
- Use silicone or epoxy grout to fill joins and stop water ingress.
Installing in shower floors is at your discretion and outside our standard guidelines, so performance can’t be guaranteed.
Yes. Warm the adhesive with a hair dryer, then peel slowly. Some residue or paint lift may occur during removal.
We sell single sheets and packs (10, 20, 30, etc.) so you can order exactly what you need. Use the Tile Calculator to confirm the total for your space.
