Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our Peel and Stick Wall Tiles including installation, surfaces, grout lines, wet areas and product care.
Peel and Stick Wall Tiles are self adhesive wall tiles designed to be installed over existing tiles or other suitable surfaces.
They require no grout, are easy to clean, cost effective and can dramatically makeover your kitchen, bathroom, laundry or splashback area with minimal effort.
Our Composite and Vinyl Peel and Stick Wall Tiles offer a range of styles, colours and finishes to transform your space.
Composite Tiles are our premium option, featuring a PVC composite construction with a laminate finish measuring 4mm thick. They are more heat resistant, more durable and provide an ultra realistic tile appearance.
Vinyl Tiles feature a glossier finish and measure 2.5mm thick. They are lightweight, flexible and still provide a highly realistic finish.
Both options are easy DIY friendly and can be cut using a sharp Stanley knife.
Existing tiles, gyprock, painted walls, glass, acrylic, stainless steel, aluminium and many other smooth surfaces.
For best results, ensure the surface is clean, dry, dust free and relatively smooth before installation.
Yes — in most cases, our Peel and Stick Wall Tiles will successfully cover existing grout lines.
Both our Composite and Vinyl Wall Tiles are designed to be installed directly over existing tiled surfaces and are thick enough to significantly reduce the visibility of grout lines underneath.
Very deep or uneven grout lines may still show slightly depending on lighting and tile design, however most customers achieve an excellent finish when installing over existing wall tiles.
Yes — our Vinyl and Composite Wall Tile ranges are water-resistant by design, making them suitable for splashbacks, bathrooms, laundries and other splash zones.
For direct water exposure such as inside shower enclosures, additional waterproof sealing measures are required.
- Seal perimeter edges and corners with waterproof silicone.
- Seal joins between Vinyl tile sheets.
- Fill Composite tile grout lines or bevels with waterproof silicone or epoxy grout.
While many customers have successfully installed our products in wet areas, installations inside showers are not covered under warranty due to the reliance on customer-applied waterproofing methods.
Yes — the tiles can be removed in the future. However, some adhesive residue or paint lifting may occur depending on the surface underneath.
We recommend heating the adhesive with a hair dryer before slowly peeling the tiles away from the wall.
Yes — however we recommend allowing at least 30cm clearance from the centre of the rear burner to the splashback area.
This helps minimise the risk of heat or flame related damage. Composite Tiles are generally the better option for areas exposed to higher heat.
