Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our Flexible Wood Rolls, including installation, suitable surfaces, cutting, joining, painting and finishing.
Wood Rolls are a lightweight and cost-effective alternative to heavy MDF panels such as Laminex. They are made using wood pulp, which is moulded into a pattern to create a 3D decorative look.
They are designed to be flexible and bendable, making them ideal for curved walls, furniture, cabinetry, feature walls and other decorative surfaces.
They are easy to cut with scissors or a sharp Stanley knife and can be adhered to surfaces using a strong contact adhesive.
Our Flexible Wood Rolls are perfect for creating seamless, continuous patterns. Each panel is designed with precision-cut edges that align easily side by side for a smooth finish.
The rolls come with excess raw paper edges, which can be trimmed off to ensure a clean, continuous look whether installed horizontally or vertically. In some cases, depending on how the roll was cut, there may be slight gaps or join lines between panels. These can be easily fixed with wood filler for a flawless, professional finish.
Wood Roll can be used on gyprock, painted walls, acrylic, wood, MDF and other suitable surfaces.
It is ideal for feature walls, ceilings, cabinetry, furniture wraps and decorative projects. Just make sure the surface is clean and dry before installation.
We recommend using a strong contact adhesive for best results. This can be rolled or brushed onto the surface before applying the Wood Roll.
Contact adhesive can usually be purchased from your local hardware store.
Wood Roll measures 120cm wide/high x 240cm long, with the pattern running along the length of the roll.

We do not recommend using Wood Roll in areas that will be frequently exposed to water.
Occasional exposure to water or splashes is okay, however we recommend sealing the surface with a clear topcoat for a longer-lasting finish.
